Trucks and SUVs were studied separately, so they're omitted from these results. The !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! are:
1. Honda Accord
2. Subaru Legacy
3. Toyota Avalon
4. Honda Odyssey
5. Nissan Maxima
6. Toyota Camry
7. Ford Taurus
8. Honda Civic
9. Acura TL
10. Subaru
Outback
Now, keep in mind, this study only looks at used vehicles that are currently for sale. If you have a 200K+ car that you're hanging onto until the end of time, it isn't included in these results.

Yep. 167 and climbing.

I read the title and thought you meant the cars that get the highest gas mileage.
But this is actually talking about which cars have the most examples still running with over 200k miles.
Maybe tweak the title some?

But I thought VW had more cars on the rode with 100,000+ miles than any other brand ;)

I know they didn't make too many land cruisers for the US, but of all the 80 series that aren't crashed or flipped or otherwise ruined there is a very high percentage in the 250k mile club, I'm 10k away.

I guess they're not going up for resale, because people are hanging onto them. That's not a bad thing.

Also...US. Most of that number comes from Mexico, Brazil, and china where beetles and type 2 vans were still being produced and used as taxis.

my dads titan has 256k lol. but he's ocd & it's immaculate. '04 window truck, paint on the chrome bits, fancy wheels, manual windows & locks. i've had to replace some door handle bits, one of the relays went out, it had a leaking axle seal so we stuffed the diff with no-smoke. other than that, it's a good truck. kinda chitzy, but does the doing well.

I used to have a coworker who DD'd a Geo Prizm, but also owned a Rolls-Royce Silver Spur, a Lotus, and two Jags. He was an interesting dude.

Well, definitely not the type I'd expect to DD a Geo Prizm, but I guess that explains the rest of the lineup

In Finland very high mileage cars tend to be W124 Mercedes-Benz diesels. They are pretty tough cars but rust will still get them eventually.
I once met a guy car gathering with '64 Dodge that was ex-copcar (I don't remember from which state it had been imported from). It had been driven for over 500 000 miles and it still had the original 318cid engine.

I am very surprised that Taurus is on there with their reputation and not surprised with Accord as #1, we have an 03 EX with 178K and used to have 94 LX with 325K and 91 Accord wagon with 180K

That's actually not that much for a truck. Probably got another 500,000 left to go.
